Our refund and returns policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

  • Downloadable software products
  • Some health and personal care items

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

  • Book with obvious signs of use
  • CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened.
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Warranty Policy

Manufacturer’s Warranty

All products sold on smartthermostat.ae are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. The warranty details vary based on the product and brand, and they typically cover defects in material or workmanship.

Warranty Claims & Support

  • Manufacturer’s Warranty Claim: If your product has a defect or issue, please contact the manufacturer’s customer service to initiate a warranty claim. We can assist you in contacting the manufacturer and understanding the claim process.
  • Installation Warranty: We provide a 3-month warranty on our installation services. This covers any issues related to the installation of the product. Should you face any problems with our installation work, please contact us for support.

Exclusions from Warranty
The manufacturer’s warranty does not cover damage caused by improper use, unauthorized repairs, accidents, or modifications to the product.

Eligibility for Returns

  • Return Window: If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return the product within 14 days of delivery, provided it meets the return eligibility criteria.
  • Return Conditions:
    • The product must be in its original condition, unused, and unopened.
    • The product must be in its original, undamaged packaging, with all accessories, manuals, and other items intact.
    • Products that have had their original packaging opened, damaged, or tampered with are not eligible for return.
    • Non-Returnable Items: Products that have been installed, used, or customized are non-returnable.

Return Process

  • Contact Us: To initiate a return, please contact our customer service team with your order number and reason for the return.
  • Inspection Upon Return: Once we receive the returned product, our team will inspect it to confirm that it meets the return criteria (original, unopened, and undamaged packaging).
  • Return Shipping: You will be responsible for the return shipping costs unless the return is due to a defect or an error on our part.
  • To return your product, you should mail your product to specified physical address provided to your in your email.
  • You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
  • Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
  • If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Refunds

nce your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

  • If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
  • Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
  • Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
  • If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at {email address}.

Sale items

Only regular-priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

  • After the inspection and approval of your return, we will process a refund to your original payment method within 7-10 business days.
  • Refund Exceptions: If the product is found to be used, opened, or damaged, the return will not be eligible for a refund, and the item will be returned to you.

Damaged or Defective Products Upon Delivery

  • If your product arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We will assist in replacing the item or repairing it under the manufacturer’s warranty.
